It's not Magic, just human connection.
Drawing and Talking is the number one alternative to CBT and direct talking therapies that can often be confronting or limiting to us when processing pain or traumatic events.
Designed to compliment the work of CAMHS and other specialist therapies, it allows each individual to discover and communicate painful emotions and feelings by using a non-directed technique.
A powerful and simple person-centred approach, that helps to influence the way our brain’s neural pathways and body’s nervous system operate and respond which creates positive lasting effects. The intervention provides consistent support to an individual over a period of 12 weeks.
The therapy is suitable for anyone from age 5+ and involves playful sessions that result in serious solutions, by allowing the individual to internally process their pain or trauma.
Used within schools across the UK, Draw to Explore brings this modern alternative to you.
With little to no waiting lists, no external referrals required. No lesson time lost and no need for catching up on missed work.
Half the time, half the cost.

How many sessions will I need?
Every client receives 12 weekly sessions. These will be on the same day and time each week. I understand that there may be holidays that arise, no problem we will factor that in when arranging the details. It’s ok to have a small break.
How much space is needed?
Just enough room for two to sit together either at a table or on the floor if we are using sand. A table and chairs would be great but it’s not the most important thing.
Where will the sessions take place?
Draw to Explore provides you with a mobile service. I come to you. As it’s your time, you decide whether you would like your sessions at home, in your office, at school, or another preferred space such as a local community centre. I will always do my best to find a safe space near to you if that’s what you need. I will make it work for you. All we need is to agree on the same space and time for every session.
Can I get funding?
Every circumstance is individual. Please contact me to discuss.
I am on the waiting list for CAMHS will this matter or affect my place?
Not at all, Drawing and Talking is classed as a CAMHS Tier 1 Early Help support intervention.
